Neolea's EVOO awarded gold in New York
This year’s harvest has won the Gold Award during the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC) as recognition for its superior quality. For the second year in a row, Neolea has been acknowledged for the great work of the Neolea team in collaboration together with the farmers and olive press in the town of Manessi in Greece.
Perhaps not everyone can distinguish the oregano or unripe tomatoes in our olive oil but we all recognize when something smells fresh and green. Most of our efforts and technicalities around quality olive oil extraction are there for exactly that purpose: to keep it fresh. We start with an acidity of ±0.2, lot’s of fruitiness and phenolic acid, then we bottle on demand and top off our tanks with nitrogen. Last but not least our painted bottle protects your evoo from any UV damage.
